Homer O Lichtenwalter, Jr., BSChE
I am retired. My wife, Maxine Houser Lichtenwalter, and I have three
children, Homer III, Lee and Mary. I enjoy golf.
1951
Frederick M. Perkins, Jr., BSChE, MS 1952
Retired, ExxonMobil. Rosemary and I retired in Houston. We have 2
married daughters and 1 married son, 2 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 1
great-granddaughter and one great-grandson. I enjoy hunting, fishing,
genealogy, gardening, cooking, and just having a good time.

Martin L. Essick, BSChE
I retired from Atlantic Research Corporation in 1997 and moved to
Columbia, SC. Since retirement I have taken up playing tennis and
browsing the internet. I devote 12-16 hours per week (during the school
year) to tutoring high school students in Math, Chemistry and Physics. I
have had to learn a significant amount of Chemistry that I was not
taught at U of F just to be able to help the current high school
students! My wife and I also stay active in our church with teaching and
visitation.

Thomas C. Breske, BSChE
Sr. Consultant, Retired (from DuPont). Still do consulting in
Industrial Water Treatment. Married to Bobbie, with 3 children & 3
step-children. I am an extensive traveler (Turkey is our next stop).
Hobbies include collecting stamps, post cards, tools (blow torches &
measuring tools), world's fairs items, and gardening.
1965
Thomas L. Harrell, BSChE
In June 1988, I retired from The US Air Force as a Major; in June
2003, retired as a High School Math Teacher; presently employed
part-time for The Montgomery Board of Education. I am married for 36
years; wife's name is Beth. 3 children: Jeffrey, Thomas (wife, Rene),
Melanie. 1 grandchild: Elijah (1 yr. old). Still run/walk every day.
Also, run in local road races (3-6 miles) when I can.
1968
A. Lamar Reeves, BSChE
Huntsman Corp. (Retired 2001), Salt Lake City, UT. Received best
invention -"Filler Sleeves," which were tubes calibrated to fill tubular
reactors efficiently and precisely.
Other Activities: Work assignments (1990-2001) in Taiwan, Germany, S.
Korea. Since retiring in Dec. 2001, have traveled to all US states
except Alaska.

Avelion G. Bolumen, BSChE
Project Engineer with Babcock & Wilcox Co., Barberton, OH. Wife is
Maria, 2 children: Mark and Lisa.
1973
Mark D. Jarvis, BSChE
Worked for Procter & Gamble for 29 years. Retired in 2002. At
retirement, section head in project management. My son just graduated
from the University of Dayton with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
My wife and I will open a daycare learning center next year. In my spare
time I coach 7th and 8th grade girls volleyball teams and do
woodturning. I also play volleyball on a senior Olympics team.

Attorney, Majorie Payne Britt, PC, Houston, TX. Recently graduated
with a JD from University of Houston Law Center and am currently working
in bankruptcy. I reside with partner Todd Sittler (also a chemical
engineer) in Houston, TX. Heavily involved in community preservation
groups, sit on a City of Houston Commission, and on the Board of
Directors for Children's Legal Services.

Manager Environmental, Health & Safety with Schenectady International
(SII) Inc., Newport, TN. Wife, Anne (UF BSMT 1975); sons, Tony (20) and
Frank, John and Nick (16). Tony is a Junior in Chemical Engineering at
Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. Tony recently
joined the National Chemical Engineering Honor Society of Omega Chi
Epsilon.

Senior Systems Engineer with Web Methods, Dallas, TX. Celebrated the
birth of our daughter, Campbell Jane Wixted, on January 31, 2005.

returned to school to get an MSW degree and am changing careers from
engineering to social work.

Project Management Institute (PMI). Wife - Kellie (UF Journalism, 1980);
Son - Colin, 19, at UNC-Wilmington; Daughter - Evan, 16, Jr. in high
school. My other activities include #2 rated judge, Southern SC District
of Eastern Surfing Association, invited to represent Southern SC at
mid-Atlantic Regionals Surf Contest (Ocean City, MD) in Grandmasters
(age 45-55) and Sr. Long Board (age 40-50), and #4 Grandmaster in SC
State Surfing Championships

years, 2 children

Brett H. Boyd, BSChE
Technical Manager - DynaSand & DynaSand D2 Product Lines - with
Parkson Corp., Fort Lauderdale, FL. October 2004 - promoted from Sr.
Process Engineer to Tech. Manager between aggressive cost-cutting
(replacing stainless steel components with plastic and fiberglass) and
expanding applications through aggressive pilot testing, sales and
profitability of these product lines are soaring. Wife - Christine;
Biological Sons - Alex (15, Chris (8), Brett, Jr. (7), and David. Foster
Son - Matt (19) finished year one at UCF, and Foster Daughter - Brittany
(17).

Dr. Sherry L. Brandt-Williams, BSChE
Research Scientist with the USEPA, Numeric Modeling of H2O and
Pollutant Transport and Estuarine Ecosystem Dynamics. PhD in
Environmental Engineering Sciences 1999. My son starts college next
year.
Andre DuPont, BSChE
US Environmental Protection, Clean Air Market Division. Received a
Master in Information Technology from Virginia Polytechnic in May 2002.
1988
William L. Verboncoeur, BSChE
Senior Project Engineer with Huntsman Corporation. I will be
traveling to Saudi Arabia and China in the near future to help our
licensees get through commissioning and startup of their new maleic
anhydride plant. I will also be in charge of two reactor recatalyzations
in Pensacola. Have been married three years to Chang-Tse. We survived
Hurricane Ivan with no major damage. I am also president of a
homeowner's association. Recently went to Hawaii on vacation.

Senior Process Engineer with Eli Lilly & Co., Indianapolis, IN.
Recently passed P.E. ChemE exam. Currently working in controls and
optimization in insulin API manufacturing at Lilly's bulk pharmaceutical
site. I have 2 boys, Matthew (7), Benjamin (5), married to wife,
Christie. I enjoy geocaching with family all over the U.S.

In 2003 I quit my job as Process Engineering Manager at the Polimeri
Europa, Inc., Baytown, TX plant to go with my husband, P.J., to Penn
State to get his MBA.
Personal: On April 10, 2004 our first child, Jefferson, was born in
State College, PA. We have moved to South Bend (May 2005) as my husband
pursues a career at Honeywell, Inc.

CA. Hired at CSI in March 2003 as Manufacturing Engineer. Promoted to
Production Supervisor in September 2003. Promoted to Batching Supervisor
May 2004. Promoted to current position in March 2005.
George A. Katzaras, BSChE
Granular Production Superintendent at Mosaic Company, Mulberry, FL
Professional Activities: Because of the outstanding technical background
the UF ChemE Department provided me, I have been fortunate to have been
promoted four times in the past six years with Mosaic Company (formerly
IMC),
currently Granular Production Superintendent at New Wales facility, the
largest Crop Nutrient, Animal Feed Production facility in the world. I
was married to Elina in March 2003 and just purchased a home in
Lakeland, FL. I participate in civic activities that benefit the needy
such as the United Way. Am actively involved with the local Greek
Orthodox Church and have held several committee and board positions. I
am an avid golfer, playing to a 12 handicap and enjoy fishing and
hunting.

Senior Process Engineer at Intel Corporation, New Mexico. My wife's (UF
BABS-2000) identical twin sister (UF-PR-1999) birthed identical twin
boys (Aiden and Ethan Martinez) on December 6, 2004.

VA. I was married August 2003 to Andria Hobbs (UF BS '01).

Process Engineer at Bechtel Corporation, Houston, TX. I was promoted
to Engineer II from grade 22 to 23. I was married May 7, 2005 to Casey
Quinn Freeman - new name is Meghan Amanda Freeman.
